The Marine and Wildlife Art
Festival and Craft Show will be held at the Indian River Fairgrounds October
14-15 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Indian River Fairgrounds in Vero Beach is located
at 7955 58th Ave Vero Beach, Florida. The Marine Art Festival is easily
accessible from I-95 and the Florida Turnpike and there are acres of free
parking. The Festival features a unique blend of fine arts, crafts,
specializing in marine and wildlife arts and crafts, music, food, and fun
attracting people each year from all over Florida and the Southeast.
The Festival features local,
regional, and national original works of art from over 100 artists offering
affordable art work for the established as well as the beginning collector.
Artists specializing in
photography, acrylic and oil paintings, serigraphy, watercolor, jewelry,
clothing, pottery, woodcarving, quilting, metalwork, leatherworkers and
furniture will all be on the grounds. Attendees will have an opportunity to
meet and support the marine, wildlife and nature artists who have created the
work they are exhibiting.
Live music will be featured
both Saturday and Sunday. Plenty of
seating will be available at the Indian River Fairgrounds to enjoy the music
and seafood. In addition to the artists
and craftsman, seafood vendors will be ready to satisfy hungry customers,
offering delicious seafood including lobster, conch, shrimp, crab and fish
served up many different ways.
