Pioneer Park Days is one of
the largest, and the oldest antique tractor, steam engine, and farm equipment
show in the southeast. Some of the highlights include over 200 exhibits of
antique tractors,"hit and miss steam engines" and antique farm
equipment.
You will also experience daily
live entertainment, historical reenactments, daily tractor parades, local food
vendors, swamp cabbage cooking demonstrations, whip cracking demos, arts and
crafts, kids zone, a vintage car show and new this year, "The
Marketplace", where you will find all things 'Fashionably Old &
Fantastically New.’
A fantastic multi-media and
educational presentation of “A Land Remembered” & book signing on Saturday
only, limited seating so come early. Also, Carlton Ward Jr., National
Geographic Photographer, and conservationist will be on hand for a book signing
as well.
Pioneer Park Days is an event
that teaches the young how their great-grandparents lived and many times brings
a flicker of remembrance to the old pioneers who made Hardee County great.
March 1-3rd from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is
$5 p.p. daily or $10 p.p. for a weekly pass and golf cart rentals will be
